If your skin tolerates it well and you don't have some other problems (e.g. sensitivity, redness, acne, inflammation), you may be able to use this method. However, washing your face with alternating hot and cold water can aggravate the sensitivity of sensitive skin and stimulate the capillaries to dilate ...... thus making the sensitivity and redness problems worse. As a general rule, I recommend using warm water to wash your face. If you have oily skin, do not leave your face for less than 3 minutes.
